Travel opens our eyes to the intricate web of human relations and the powerful bonds we can form. It deepens our appreciation of the world’s beauty and the challenges that define our global family.
Angie and Nick first met in 2004, and one of their earliest journeys together led them to the stunning Machu Picchu. While its splendor was undeniable, their return to Cusco unveiled a jarring contrast: the numerous children on the streets, hoping for a bit of change to secure their next meal. This contrast deeply moved them.
Recognizing that many travelers, lured by places like Machu Picchu, would be equally moved to assist those less fortunate, Angie and Nick were inspired. They believed that travel should not only be about the journey but also about benefiting the communities one visits.
Driven by the belief that travel should inspire positive change, Angie and Nick started Explorify. They decided to give 5% of profits each year to MEDLIFE, helping kids in poor areas of Peru. Their goal was to make the world better, trip by trip.
